The best thing about this jacket is the fact that it can be worn in any way you like. I find black velvet to be a lot more casual than the other colours, so you could easily layer this over a subtle printed dark grey or black shirt, finished off with some grey or washed black jeans, or solid black if you prefer, as much as you can pair it with a white shirt and trousers.
