The Summer is almost here, and we're well into Spring right now, but that doesn't mean you have to go without a suit when it heats up. Suits are a classic that need to be worn, no matter what the temperature or weather outside, the only thing that varies is the type of suit that you choose. Tweed and thicker velvet suits are perfect for the Winter, but when it comes to the heat, you want something lightweight like linen or cotton, something that's breathable and easy to wear without overheating. You also need to keep in mind the colour palette, and nothing screams Summer more than a beige suit! Don't worry, we're not on about going full Miami Vice and rocking the palest beige or white, but something a little more classic than that. However, if beige isn't for you, we have included some light grey options as well, don't worry!
Here at House of Cavani we have three different beige suits in stock currently, and you can't go wrong with either of them! There's two light grey as well, just as versatile. These are ideal for July/August weddings, perfect for office wear, or any occasion you see fit. The best thing about beige suits is that you can also use the jacket on its own to pair with jeans, it's casual smart then! So, lets take a look at the three different House of Cavani beige suits and two grey options that we have to buy!
Up first is the Miami Beige Slim Fit Suit, much like the name states, it's perfect for the warmer weather, just like Miami, Florida. It's got sandy tones to it and works really well with pastel shades for your ties and pocket squares. Pale pinks, blues or lilacs would work wonders with this, but overall, it's a plain, inoffensive suit that would be ideal for those hot days, so you can keep black at bay!
Next up we have the Caridi Slim Fit Check Suit in Beige. This one is perfect for those men that want a little more pizazz and elegance. Plain can often be too boring which is why we made the Caridi, featuring a subtle beige and light blue check pattern on the beige fabric, to give it some interest. Due to the print and colour combination, wearing a baby blue or lilac tie with this will look amazing, but because the buttons are quite dark, a navy tie will work just as well, giving the whole ensemble a bit more of an edge! You can't go wrong with this one and it's the most stylish of the three - my personal favourite!
Lastly, we have the Kyra Stone Tweed Suit. Now we know you might want to keep away from tweed as it's a heavy duty fabric, mostly worn in the colder months, but for those Summer days where it's a bit chilly outside (lets face it, living in the UK that can happen more than you'd think!), you might want to reach for this one. It's a beautiful shade of light beige, more of a stone option, and because it's a neutral, it works with anything. This one would be a wonderful transitioning piece into Spring actually and you can dress it down by using darker ties and pocket squares. Jewel tones will work with this just as much as the light shades, that's how versatile this suit is. Again, it's a favourite if you don't mind a heavier fabric! You can't go wrong. Have you ever seen a suit so neutral that it works with everything? Apart from black obviously!
Now of course, if beige really isn't for you as you don't find it smart enough, don't worry, we have this light grey option above. This is the Veneto Light Grey suit and it's super pale, but as it's grey, incredibly professional too. You can't go wrong with this one if you need more of an office appropriate look when your suit matters. Since it is grey, it wont be as versatile as the beige, but it's close enough! Of course, if this one isn't suited and you wanted something more bold or printed, with more character, check out this one below.
This is the Cavani Flint in Grey Check. We love this one as the checked pattern is subtle enough to work well for bringing a little bit of edge to your outfit, but since it's a little bit more of a darker grey than the one above, you can get more wear out of it as it's quite versatile. Not only will this suit work for the summer months, you can wear it in Spring and Autumn too! It's one of those!
We hope you love these House of Cavani summer suits! Which is your favourite?
